Chauncey Billups
Chauncey Ray Billups is an American professional basketball coach and former player who is the suspended head coach of the Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). After playing college basketball with the Colorado Buffaloes, he was selected third overall in the 1997 NBA draft by the Boston Celtics. A point guard, Billups played for seven NBA franchises over spent his 17-year basketball career, most notably the Detroit Pistons, for whom he won the NBA Finals MVP in 2004 after helping the Pistons beat the Los Angeles Lakers in the Finals.
