Privacy Policy

Yestermark is run by one person. It is a static reference site. It does not collect personal data about you in any form I can read.

What Yestermark sets, by phase

Phase 0 (current). Yestermark sets no cookies of its own. The analytics service I use, Cloudflare Web Analytics, is cookieless: it counts page views without identifying individuals or tracking across sites. Cloudflare logs request data at the edge for security and routing; I don't access or process those logs.

Phase 1+ (when advertising launches). If and when ads launch, Yestermark will use Google AdSense. AdSense sets cookies and similar technologies for advertising, but only after you affirmatively consent through the on-page banner. If you decline, no advertising cookies are set and the site continues to work normally. The full inventory of cookies will be listed on the cookies page when this phase begins.

Legal bases (GDPR)

• Cloudflare's edge logs are processed under legitimate interest (site security, abuse prevention).
• Advertising cookies (Phase 1+) are processed under consent, exercised through the cookie banner.

Your rights

If you're in the EU, UK, California, or another jurisdiction with applicable rights, you have the right to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to processing of any personal data I hold about you. Because Yestermark doesn't maintain user accounts and Cloudflare's logs aren't accessible to me, in practice there is rarely anything held; but you may always contact hello@yestermark.com to exercise these rights.

California-specific notices

Yestermark does not "sell" or "share" personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA. The site honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal automatically. Notice at Collection: the categories of information potentially processed are limited to request-level data (IP, user agent) routed through Cloudflare's edge for security; no inferences are drawn and no personal data is sold or shared.

International transfers

Cloudflare and Google operate global networks; data may be routed through any of their data centers. Their public data processing agreements apply.

Retention

Cloudflare retains edge logs on the schedule documented in its own privacy policy. Nothing is retained by me.

Children

Yestermark is not directed at children under 13 and I do not knowingly collect their data.

Right to be removed

If you are depicted on a page on Yestermark and would prefer not to be, email hello@yestermark.com with the page URL. I acknowledge within 48 hours and remove or anonymize within 7 days, including adding noindex and a robots.txt block to prevent re-indexing.

Changes

Material changes to this policy are posted at least 30 days in advance. The "updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
